Two of the UK’s biggest boy bands, The Wanted & McFly, will be joining together this summer to headline at Blackpool’s newest open air venue the Tower Festival Headland on Sunday 24th June.
Located opposite the renowned Blackpool Tower the new Tower Festival Headland can hold up to 20,000 spectators and is a fantastic new venue for the area. This spectacular open air concert runs throughout the day and sees both The Wanted & McFly perform in front of thousands of fans.
McFly first entered the UK charts in 2004 when there debut single ‘5 Colours in Her Hair’ stormed into the charts at number one. Since then they have achieved huge success with five studio albums, a greatest hits album and eighteen singles including the hits ‘Obviously’, ‘All About You’, ‘Star Girl’ and ‘One for the Radio’.
Formed in 2009 The Wanted’s first single ‘All Time Low’ debuted at number one in the UK singles chart and stayed in the top 40 for 17 weeks in the summer of 2010. Since then the boys have had two albums and a sell out UK tour.
