This summer sees the steamy passion of the Pacific Islands arrive in London, with a new production of Noel Cowards undiscovered gem Volcano showing at the Vaudeville Theatre. From 14th August to 29th September 2012, guests on a Volcano theatre break can enjoy a tale of sun, sand and seduction in a gripping romantic drama.

Written in 1956 and originally intended to star the iconic Katherine Hepburn, Volcano was never performed during Cowards lifetime. The new Volcano Vaudeville Theatre production of this saucy play will bring Cowards story to life, telling the tale that he wrote during his self-exile in Jamaica to new West End audiences.

Set on a Pacific Island dominated by its very own volcano, the play follows the entangled love lives of widow Adela Shelly, her friend Ellen, the suave Guy Littleton and his wife Melissa. The Volcano Vaudeville Theatre production will star the sensational Jenny Seagrove, Dawn Steele and Jason Durr.

Directed by Roy Marsden, audiences on a Volcano theatre break this summer will be swept away by another classic play from Noel Coward, one of the UKs most prolific writers who also brought us the well-loved plays Private Lives and Hay Fever.
