Part of the What Country Friends Is This? cycle of plays The Tempest is directed by David Farr. Shakespeare’s last play The Tempest tells the story of Prospero, once Duke of Milan but usurped from his position by his brother and sent away to a remote island with his daughter Miranda. After 12 years castaway on the island Prospero hears his brothers ship is close to the shore and he raises a magical tempest to shipwreck the crew and seek his revenge. Jonathan Slinger will play the role of Prospero.
