Irish trio The Script are one of Ireland’s most successful musical exports and after front man Danny O’Donoghue completed a judging stint on BBC talent show The Voice the band quickly became a household names. The Script’s line-up is completed by Marc Sheehan and Glen Power and the band have recently enjoyed their first number one single with ‘Hall of Fame’.

Their music is a slick blend of contemporary R&B and anthemic pop rock which has helped them create a unique sound to set them apart from their contemporaries. It’s hardly surprising when their diverse list of influences include U2, The Neptunes, Timbaland and Van Morrison.
The band’s debut single ‘We Cry’ earned them an army of fans and airplay from some of the country’s most influential DJ’s which catapulted them into the mainstream in Ireland and Britain.

The Script have gone from strength to strength since then and will be heading out on a UK tour in 2013, playing at The O2 Arena on 22nd and 23rd March. Their Celtic soul sound is sure to work well on a big stage where fans can sing along to classic hits including ‘Breakeven’, ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’ and ‘For The First Time’.
