The Nutcracker - Ballet Theatre Break

Festive favourite, The Nutcracker ballet returns to grace the stage of the Royal Opera House in London this winter. From December 10th 2012- to January 16th 2013, audiences can look forward to being whisked into a world of magical adventures and theatrical illusion, all set to the iconic melodies of Tchaikovskys score. Set in the late 1800s, The Nutcracker ballet sees a young girl led on a wonderful adventure after receiving an enchanted nutcracker on Christmas morning. In Peter Wrights classic production, fairy tale imagination and captivating choreography bring this traditional tale to life. Christmas trees grow before your eyes and toy soldiers come to life as the heroine Clara is whisked off in a golden sleigh.

With some of the best-known songs in ballet from Tchaicovsky and dream-like dances in the form of The Sugar Plum Fairy, guests booking The Nutcracker tickets and hotel breaks are guaranteed a short break to remember.
