Following the release of her eighth studio album, ‘Havoc and Bright Lights’ in August 2012, Canadian singer/songwriter Alanis Morissette will be embarking on a European tour. The UK leg of the tour, which takes in 3 dates will be commencing on 28th November at The O2 Arena in London.
After the release of her classic ‘Jagged Little Pill’ album in 1995 on Madonna’s Maverick Records label, Morissette cemented her status as one of the musical stars of the 1990s. The album boasted the classic singles ‘You Oughta Know’, ‘One Hand in my Pocket’ and ‘Ironic’ and helped her gain critical acclaim. In 1996 she won Grammy Awards for Album of the Year and Song of the Year.
The upcoming tour will feature songs from her extensive back catalogue and promises to be a night to remember.
